On November 9th 2018, we were heading to the"Touch of Grey” dive site when our Captain spotted something on the surface. There was a current line up north from the dive site and we saw several manta rays feeding in it. We decided to get in the water to try to identify some of them. There were at least 8 maybe more? I was able to take some shots and to identify most of them except one. One little male with about a 5-6 feet wingspan with tiny claspers was having a blast feeding on plankton. He didn’t care about us being around and he continued to feed until we left. I would like to name him JC Ray to honor our fantastic Captain JC Turner who spotted those manta rays.
