KEONI KAI is a large male manta first identified at the Kona Surf site on April 21, 1996. He was in shallow water along with two other shy mantas. He also has large claspers that extend well past his pelvic fins and suggests he is a mature male. He is named after dive guides Kimo and Kristan Santos’ son born in 1996.
