First sighted by Kit Hartigan from Body Glove Cruises. He recalls, “I saw her on June 27, 2001 at Pawai Bay . It was around 10 a.m. and she buzzed us as our divers were entering the water. She was very skittish and presented her ventral side when I got close.” Reanon ray is named after Kit’s daughter.
