Righty is another feeding challenged manta ray. We first noticed her in 1993, when we saw that her right cephalic fin had fishing lined wrapped around it. As the days and weeks passed, the line grew tighter until it nearly cut the fin off. She stopped coming around and we feared she had died from her injury. Thankfully in 1995, she returned with a healed, yet mangled fin. She has been a regular at the Kona Surf site ever since.
